Date: 8th June ’07

Time: 1000(meeting time)-1800 (leaving time)

Meeting Place: Clementi MRT platform (the one that heads for Pasir Ris)

Travel Route:
Getting there: From Clementi, we will take TOGETHER towards Pasir Ris, the final stop. Someone print out the first page of the class list i sent out last time and make sure that except those who are not coming as stated below, have arrived. Don't wait too long if they are late. 10-15min MAX. DO NOT change to the Expo-Changi Line. Its 22 stops, fyi, about an hour. I have taken before. To get a rough guide, go to http://www.smrt.com.sg/trains/documents/RailTravelTimes61.pdf to check. Although its just a ’10 minute walk” according to the Downtown East website, I don’t think any of you would want 10 minutes under the sun when you would have hours till you are sick of it later. SO take 6, 12, 17, 21, 354 (recommended buses, can be taken at the interchange, ONE STOP ONLY DO NOT OVERSHOOT), 358 (hell long route), 3, 89 (I’m not sure about them). IF you do not know how to get from the MRT to the interchange, ASK people for directions.

Going home: Just take the bus back to Pasir Ris MRT BUT on the opposite side of the road. Then take the MRT back home. If you do not know how to do that, go back to Clementi first and trace back how you came to Clementi.

Plan:
1100 – Reach Downtown East
1100-1230 – Arcade at X-Zone #01-40. Ask how to get there. I’m not sure myself.
1230-1330 – Go MACS #01-28 and have lunch. Go to the area, walk around and ask around to find out where it is. I have stated the money to bring below.
1330-1400 – PLEASE USE THIS TIME TO REST BEFORE TAKING THE RIDES. NO ONE WANTS TO VOMIT LIKE HELL.
1400-1600 – RIDE TIME at ESCAPE. Just pick any you like and board with a few friends. More about Escape is below.
1600-1800 – Wild Wild Wet. Look at the details below. It closes at 1900 so do not drag too much.

NOTE: IF THE ACTIVITIES END EARLY/LATE, JUST CONTINUE WITH THE NEXT. HECK CARE ABOUT THE TIME WRITTEN.ITS JUST A ROUGH ESTIMATE.

Money Matters:
1. PLEASE FIND TWO FRIENDS WHO ARE AGED 13 AND ABOVE AND TWO FRIENDS WHO ARE AGED 12 AND ABOVE TO BUY TICKETS TOGETHER AT A ‘FAMILY’ PRICE OF $40. SO THE ‘ADULTS’ WOULD PAY $13.50 EACH AND THE ‘CHILDREN’ WILL PAY $6.50 EACH. POOL THE MONEY YOURSELVES AND GET ONE PERSON TO PAY. THOSE WHO CAN’T GET A GROUP, I’M SORRY BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY THE PRICES BELOW. BUT FIRST, PLEASE TRY TO SEE WHETHER ALL OF YOU CAN BUY UNDER ‘CHILD’ (I hope not all adults).

3. Arcade Money. Bring about $15 but if you want to play more or less, so be it.

4. Bring money for the Macs lunch as well. About, say, $10. However, you might want to bring about extra $10 for food during Escape or Wild Wild Wet as you are bound to get hungry.

5. YOUR EZLINK CARD WITH SUFFICIENT VALUE (AT LEAST $10) OR YOU FORGET ABOUT GOING ANYWHERE WITH THE CLASS

6. Altogether, bring about $80 (includes some extra money just in case). Of course you can bring more, but not recommended less, BUT AT LEAST $65.

Escape Information:
To have a rough guide of the rides, go to http://www.escapethemepark.com.sg/img/parkmap.jpg to see the map. There are height limits for some of the rides, so people who are shorter like may not be able to enter the rides. Especially those who are below 1.47m. There will be the Daytona go-cart either you cant drive in the two-pax beginner cart, or can’t even try the solo cart. Those who want to ride on the wet rides like ‘Wild and Wet’, you have a choice to bring the second set of clothes, but its kinda unnecessary. I have stated the money to bring above.

Wild Wild Wet Information:
For first timers and cant swim, don’t worry. Go to those shallow ones that you can stand up in. They are listed below. MUST bring along extra clothes or water will make you wear *ahem* stuff.
